Airport is a visual inquiry into the intersection between human-made infrastructure and the natural world within the unique environment of air travel. Through images of vast terminals, runways, and liminal spaces, the project examines how airports exist as monumental constructions embedded within—and often in contrast to—the surrounding landscape.
Focusing on the visual dialogue between concrete, steel, light, and sky, Airport seeks to reveal the unexpected beauty found in these highly controlled environments. The project highlights moments where natural elements—weather, horizon lines, shifting light, and distant terrain—soften or disrupt the rigid geometry of architectural forms.
Rather than viewing airports solely as functional transit spaces, this series reconsiders them as evolving landscapes shaped by both human ambition and natural forces. Airport invites viewers to reflect on themes of movement, scale, and impermanence, and to contemplate how these transitional spaces embody the complex relationship between technological progress and the natural world.
